About Meg Konovska
I bid you welcome to my artistic realm, where sense of wonder meets experimentation, and every creation is a joyful journey of fun and exploration!
This is Meg, at your service within limits. Artist, designer and author of the pieces you will find here.

Who is Meg Konovska
I am an artist and designer, I mainly paint with acrylics and mixed media. I work mainly in the styles of surrealism and abstraction, but I always go beyond them, because in my art creativity is leading.
My Gold foil paintings turned into an inspiring event in my home country Bulgaria at my exhibition. Some of my original paintings are in the homes of art connoisseurs all over Europe. My statement art, fantasy art and childhood inspired art inspires inner dialogues and games of the imagination. And I like to inspire people.
Through my work, I aim to captivate your imagination, inviting you to enter a world of enchantment where things are not always what they seem. Each artwork embraces the unexpected, connecting different forms of art and culture in a vivid conversation in a highly intuitive manner, while serendipity is surprising yet intentional.
I strive to create art using an interdisciplinary approach, meaning I often “catch” ideas in song lyrics, books, movies, museums, random conversations, childhood memories, philosophical ideas, psychological mechanisms, or even under the shower (hey, who doesn’t?!). Additionally, I tend to write explanations to each painting adding extra layers to the context for deeper understanding and meaningful engagement with the audience.
